First Grade Students - Spring 2009
First graders study butterflies. Each student created a butterfly template out of paper, cut their butterfly out of clay, and cut out clay squares to be used for background tiles. The clay was bisque fired, the children painted them with glazes and created a mosaic butterfly border which was installed in the first grade hallway.
